LaMoine Allen Correll

LaMoine Allen Correll, 86, of Peru went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Richvalley, Indiana on January 19, 1940 to Verling and Edith (Mann) Correll. LaMoine married Donna Glassburn on May 16, 1958 and she survives.

He dedicated his life to serving the community as a fireman. At the time of his retirement, he had 30 years of service with the Peru Fire Department. LaMoine had a true passion for firefighting and farming. He loved to eat and watch college basketball. He also enjoyed watching Peru basketball.

LaMoine and Donna attended The Lord’s Table Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Patricia (Todd) Brown of Macy, Indiana, Randy Correll of Las Vegas, Nevada, extended daughter-in-law, Lynda Creager of Peru, Indiana, 4 grandchildren; Cori (Eric) Rider, Dan Hawkins, Samantha (Corey) Black, Ann Correll, 6 great grandchildren; Nicholas Dewey, Patrick (Marie) Rider, Heidi (Brad) Rasmus, Richie Lanning, Miles Black, Grayson Black, great great grandchildren; Sophi, Scarlet, Aubrey Rider, Kolton “LaMoine” Rider, and brother, Gene Correll of Avon, Florida.

LaMoine is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Jack Correll, Joe Correll, sons; Curtis Correll, Brian Correll, and granddaughter, Laura Correll.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Richard Walters officiating. Fireman funeral honors will be provided by the Peru Fire Department. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
